  1. The little leipreachan is know locally by the Leiprachan. He is 18 inches high, he wears a green cap with a long tassel, a red, coat, striped trousers, and shoes with very long toes. It is believed that he lives under mushrooms, and that his occupation is shoemaking.
    Once a woman caught him, and was carrying him over a river which was crossed by a bridge made of wood. He told her that a big bull was coming. The woman became frightened and looked behind her and the lepreachán escaped.
