    nail in the fire. Then I bored six holes on one side about one inch apart and all the same size. Then near the top and along the same side I bored a bigger hole to blow into.
    I made a blast by getting a cocoa tin and putting a little carbide and a little water into it. I put the lid on the box then. I put a hole in the bottom of the tin and I lit a match near the hole. The carbide exploded with a loud noise and blew the lid off.
