  1. Once there lived a man named Jeremiah Sheehan. One morning he got up early to go to the quarry for limestone He went out and harnessed the horse, and left the house about four o'clock. When he was going towards Mahantourig Cross the cart was falling off the horses back. He looked back and sitting on the back of the cart was a woman. He took off his hat and blessed himself and immediately the woman disappeared and he saw no more sight of her.
