  1. There once lived a man at Rossacrue whose name was Con o'Sullivan. He never slept in his own dwelling house as it was haunted. Every night he used go to "Derry Reico" so as to avoid all trouble.
One night as there was a person dead in the district dead Mr. o'Sullivan and his two daughters went to the wake. He stayed for the night but his two daughters came home about twelve o'clock. They came on until they were about a quarter of a mile from their home. Suddenly a funeral passed them by. They said nothing but went home. About a week after one of the girls died and her funeral passed by the very same way as it passed the night of the wake.
