    I was up wan night minding a sow. She was going to have boneens. 'Twas out in an out house she was. 'Twas a very cauld night in the middle of December.
    About twelve o'clock in the night the sow had ten boneens and everything was alright.
    After a little while I went into the kitchen to warm meself and have cup of tea.
    When I came out again, after half an hour, all the boneens were gone. Not wan of 'em to be seen. They all went back again out of the cauld (cold).
    About two months after the sow had the boneens again, and every wan of 'em had a ring on his nose.
