    Then they got an [?]-tree, wheels and all, and wound straw around it, and set fire to it, and ran it in on top of Peter Brien.

  2. There was a fellow going about here. Some people thought he was a fool and others thought he was a very clever fellow. He died in the poor house, and they said when the coffin was brought out that he wasn't in at at all.
