“There an ould schoolmaster teaching in Adamstown...”
There was an auld schoolmaster teaching in Addamstown long ago. This was before there was any schools there. ' Twas in an outhouse it was held.
He had the pupils wan day at reading. Wan chap was reading and he came to a big word, and he stopped.
The master didn't know the word himself.
"Oh" says he, don't mind that word that a big [?] society word.
Humble people like me + you don't want to know anything about that word".
