   According to M Renehan's account the wealth and treasures of the monasteries and convents of Cashel were hidden in a great many barrels of tallow. Damer only bought a few at first, but when he found what he had he come back and bought the lot of them. He was able then.

   Damer's lady was very good to the poor. Whenever they passed a poor person when out driving she used to drop a "piece". Damer couldn't make out how it was that they met so many beggors no matter what road they took. At last he found her out and they were parted. Remainder of story supplied by Murkeone. M. Reneton had no more of it.
