    If a man sell a horse the halter is given to the man who buys him. There is no halter given away on any other animal.
    The great fairs of the year in this county are held in Monaghan, Ballybay, Castleblaney, and Carrickmacross.
    Special fairs are held for the sale of horses, pigs, sheep and cattle. Ballybag horse fair is held on the Friday and Saturday. Pigs, under a hundred weight, are sold on a Tuesday before the fair day in Castleblaney. Fairs are held in ancient places throughout Ireland.
    There is a great horse fair held on the rock of Muff. It is held once a year on the twelfth of August, and many people go to it to buy horses. There are (is) no
