This road leads on to the Black Kesh and Drum Village.The oldest road in the district is one which leads off the Clones Road and goes towards Drum. It passes through Drumany and is sometimes called 'the Drumany Road'.The customs connected with Cross roads in this district is the playing of 'Pitch and toss' and skittles. The young boys spend their Summer evenings at these games at cross roads. Here also they congregate in the winter nights before setting off to a dance or ceilidhe.Mollie Dowd
