    The proprietor is Mr. Henry McKeown formally a native of Derry city. The factory was built in the year.
    A lady named Martin has a knitting machine. She lives in She knits, socks, jumpers, frocks and jumper-suits. They are sold in the shops in the local towns, Cootehill, Ballybay, Castleblayney and Monaghan
    A Miss - Dandy who lives in makes gloves, wallets and hand-bags by hand. This lady turns out very good work and uses the best quality materials.
    Cloths is not spun or woven locally.
