    A rainbow in the morning is a sign of rain and a rainbow int he evening is a sign of good weather.
    When the sun goes down in a red sky it is a sign of fine weather.
    A ring around the moon is a sign of rain - the further away the song is the nearer the rain is.
    When the stars are very bright and sparkling it is a sign of frost.
    A white or hoar frost brings rain
    A strong southwest wind is a sign of rain at all times of the year but a north-east wind in winter brings
