    Once there was a man in Kilcatherine who was very unlucky and Máire Ní Mhurchadha knew it. One day she met him and she told him to be ready for a certain night and that they would go to the old graveyard above Castletownbere. The night that they appointed to go was very dark and the man refused to go. Máire Ní Mhurchadha said if he would not go this night that she could not do any good for him any other
