It has a hurley and ball over the inscription and was erected to his memory by his Comrades.
The oldest headstone is turned to the East instead of the West. It is dated 1852 and erected to the memory of Crowley Nadbeg who was the first person to be buried there.
His people got five pounds from Canon Murphy who was then parish preist. On Sundays before and after Mass, people can be seen praying at the graves of their relatives.- Collector
