Wander by Newberry and by the Green Road,
Till you come to Betsborrough - the famous abode,
There's the home of Tom Russell the patriot bold,
A martyr of Ireland his name is enrolled.

When you look upon Tolorough your attention is drawn,
To the beauty surrounding the cross of Glantane,
There's a picturesque chapel both portly and tall,
Three public houses and a barrack for all.
    VIII
We'll roam over Scarragh and sweet Shanavoher,
Through lone Knockavadra where the wild plover soars,
Till we come to that Eden so fair to be seen,
The home of the wanderer - Beeing, lovely Beeing.
