When the moon is on it's back or when wild geese are head is the sign of bad weather.
When a rainbow is seen in the sky it is the sign of rain and when dogs are inclined to sleep it is also the sign of bad weather.
Then there are fine weather signs.
When smoke goes up strainght and when a fog is seen over the river or when the sunset is red.
When there is a rainbow at night it is the sign of a fine day. All these help to foretell the weather.
