    Numerous customs still cling to the newly married couple, some of them which have been passed down for generations.

    Numerous customs still cling to the newly married couple, some of them which have been passed down for generations. Some of the most common of these customs are:-
    The bride must wear a borrowed thing on the morning of her wedding. This is done for friendship throughout her married life. She must also wear a piece of blue ribbon for luck.
    The wedding day is selected first. Some people follow the old rhyme:-
    "Monday is for health
    Tuesday is for wealth
    Wednesday is the best day of
