    In a remote place adjoining Cloghan there is a large house known as the scene of a crime.

    the house was bequeathed to two brothers. A jealousy grew up between the two and the elder brother killed the younger and he had the house to himself. The spirit of his brother wanders through every room in the house and finally into the garret where he was slain. He seems to be looking for something lost. He then makes the journey to the green mound where he disappears.
    In later years it was said that his body reposed in the mound. Shorly after the house was abandoned and it fell into ruins. Even though the troubled spirit wandered through the house it was always lucky both in crops and
