  1. A long time ago a man named Jim Purcell lived in Cappagh. One night a traveller came named Jack Delany, and asked Jim to give him lodging for the night. He gave him the lodging and the people were astonished at him because they said that Jack would rob all round him.
    A few days after Jack Delany came to Jim's house again and asked him for food. Jim said that he was after eating all the food he had in the house. Still he would not go without something. So Jim said he would give him some money. He went into the
