    The greatest happening I have heard of is the burning of the woman in Ballyvadlea cottage. Her name was Mrs Cleary.

    you a fairy or are you the wife of Michael Clean she might get all right but she would not take the herbs.
    Two nights later she got worse, and again they thought to make her take the herbs and by pushing them down her throat they choked her. Then the poor fellow got frightened and they thought that they would all be hanged. The thought of a plan and they put her on the fire, and by burning her to ashes and then they could say she was gone away with the fairies.
