Christmas besides they had a roast turkey or goose on Christmas Day. At Easter they had a custom of eating a lot of eggs. Each person generally ate six eggs on Easter Sunday.
The oaten meal was wet with water and baked on an open griddle. The cake was very thin with only the two crusts. This was because before the middle would be baked the would be like iron and no one could eat it.
