  1. I.
    Oh, Glory be to God to-day:
    My heart is full of joy:
    To see once more those scence of yore
    Where oft I roamed a boy
    Fully twenty years of smiles and tears
    My life has added on.
    Since with a sigh I bade good bye
    To dear old Sliabh-na mban.
    II.
    O'er ocean's track I've wandered back
    To slake on exile's thirst;
    To feast my eyes upon those skies
    My every dream has nursed;
    Where sunny showers refresh the flowers;
    That bright with glory shone
    The floods of gold in rivers rolled
    Around old Sliabh-na-mban.
