   Ah, me tis bliss to kneel and kiss
   Those hallow'd spots of old;
   And feel the sod where heroes trod
   A Carpet spun of gold.
   I feel with joy once more a boy
   I bid dull care begone
   And know there is not another spot
   Like my own Sliabh-na mban
