- There are a lot of animals in a farm, namely, the cow, the calf, the horse, the sheep, the goat, the fowl and all poultry. The cow is a very useful animal because she gives us milk. The horse is very useful also because it is a beast of burden and also the ass, the sheep gives us lambs, and the goat gives us kids and milk. When a man is driving the cows he says "haba" "haba" and when he is calling them he says "pree" "pree". Some people put names on their cows and others do not. The names we have on our cows are Finucane, Callanen, Conway, Miltown, The Black cow, The Kerry and McDonnell.(continues on next page)
