    he gave him two pounds and ten shillings for bringing five ton of provisions and he set out again for Limerick, and when he looked back again the Island was gone. He thought this very strange and he told some people in Limerick about it, and they thought it very strange also.
    About two years after, the captain was walking around the docks as before and the same man came up to him and said - "with which eye did you see me best that day long ago" and he said - "with my left eye, because the sight of my right eye isn't very strong". "Alright said the man you'll never see me again", and he hit him a slap in the left eye and immediately the captain was blind.
