  1. There are a great variety of games which I play during the different seasons of the year.
    Skipping is my favourite game for Spring. I get a long rope, and a girl stands at either ends and twists, while each one takes her turn skipping. It is a very enjoyable game.
    Boys are usuallly seen with whip and top or bowling their hoops along the footpath.
    In Summer I go bird-nesting in the wildwood or paddling in the river.
    When Autumn comes I gather the ripe juicy blackberries in the evenings.
    Then in Winter I go skating on the pond. When the snow comes many are the happy hours I spend snowballing with my companions
