  1. Long ago every man used to wear swallowtail coats. They would not go anywhere without them.
    There was a man who was getting one made for the races of Mullacurry. Everyone got new clothes for the races' day. When the day came the tailor had not the tails on the coat, so he tacked them on, and said he would sew them on next day.
    At that time they used to fight at the races. This man got into a row, and his tails were pulled off. He did not know this, and when he went home he saw he had no tails.
