  1. When Saint Patrick was in County Longford, he started to build a school beside the village of Ardagh which is about to miles from Edgeworthstown County Longford.
Saint Patrick was using fairly large stones, one morning early when he was building it, a small red-haired woman appeared and spoke something to him, Saint Patrick have a hop, and jump on one of the stones and fled, he never returned to finish it, and there is supposed to be the track of his foot on the stone still, and the school is there still unfinished.
