    There is a fort in Drumnacross County Longford called Mac Carthys fort, fairies are often supposed to be seen on this fort.
    There is a fort near Granard called Ballinscraw, fairies are often seen on this fort.
    One time a little girl was sent on a message and she had to pass this fort. When she was passing it a little fairy man came out and walked a little piece with her, after that she was lying in bed for a month.
