    of such an enormous girth that it took seven men with outstretched arms to span it. The Bradys always wintered their bullocks within the tree, and during the summer and harvest evenings it was used for ceilidhe dances. One- sixteen hand reel could be danced comfortably inside. Later it was turned into a public house but shortly afterwards it was burned by a fire that was left inside unnattended.
