- Children some time ago made toys and other things in their spare time. The girls made necklaces and crowns from flowers. First they gather the flowers and join the stems together. They made dolls from cloth.
The boys made tops from reels of thread from which the thread was used. They made guns from timber and snares from thin wire and a piece of a stick to trap rabbits. They put a loop on the wire big enough for the rabbit to put its head through and then it pulled and it was choked.
Some children still make those toys. Boys make snares to catch rabbits. Girls still make chains from flowers and dolls from cloth and they make other things also.- Collector
