- I play "Jack stones". I get five round pebbles and catch them in my hand. I pitch them up and catch them on the back of my hand coming down. I throw them up again catch them in my hand again. There are big bobs and crackers. Draughts are played on a board. "Snakes and ladders" is played on a board. There are one hundred numbers called "snakes and ladders". There is a little board with six sides on it. It is called a disc. Six people could play. If you went to the bottom of a ladder you should go up and get another rattle. If you went to the head of a snake you should go down him.
