- (continued from previous page)was eaten long ago. It was made in potovens on the turf. Meat was ate twice or three times during the weak. They ate salt meat. Herrings and vegatables were always eaten. They ate about six or seven o clock and they went to bed then. Tea was never used until about fifty or sixty years ago. Mugs and tins were used before cups came into use. On Easter Sunday the people sell the fresh eggs and buy chocolate and easter eggs for the money and they have a picnic.
