  1. The names of the farm animals are, the horse, the cow, pigs and the sheep. the names of our cows are, Polly, Primrose and Daisy. the words that are said when deiving cattle in or out of the field are, "Bail up", "Bail up".
    The cowhouse consists of bails and a bin for oats and bran. The cowhouse is sometimes called the cowshed. The cows are kept in bails in the cowhouse. Sometimes a horseshoe is hung in the cowhouse, also palm to bring luck to the stock.
    There is an old saying that before you start milking you should always milk some on the
