  1. Clothes made locally.
    There are two tailors in this district. The two Douglas's and the two MacDonald's. There is another man, "Peter MacWilliams" is his name, and he is a good hand at repairing clothes. The tailors work in their houses, they don't travel around from house to house. If you wanted a suit made you would have to go to their house.
    The tailors dont stock cloth, they keep pattern and then send away for the cloth. The gear or implements that a tailor uses are, an iron, a scissors, thimble, needle, pressing board, and a tape.
