  1. (continued from previous page)
In the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ I lay myself down to rest.
Bless me o' Lord and after my days in this world are over bring me to Everlasting life.
May the Holy Angels watch over me and guard me
Oh Divine Jesus lonely to-night in so many tabernacles,
Forgive O' Lord my sins of to-day, keep me from sin to-morrow and in Thy mercy preserve me from a sudden and unprovided death
    Amen

    Ar leaba an bháis abair:-
Oh Jesus who on the cross did'st die, here on my bedstead hard I lie,
Grant me the grace this pain to bear, for Thee with patience and with prayer
Too long Thou will not let it last, this night, this life will soon be past
And then in Heaven with Thee no pain, no night,
But endless Love, and Life, and Light
    Amén
