    People cured sprains by bringing the person that had the sprain into a room alone, and the person who had the cure would perform something over the sprain to cure it.
    A whitlow was cured by getting different kinds of herbs and putting them on it like a poultice.
    A sore throat was cured with roasted salt.
    The seventh son or seventh daughter in a family, or a child born after his father's death, or a child born on a certain day were supposed to have the power of healing.
