  1. Some people know signs of the weather by weather guides or other signs
When the setting sun is red it is a sign of good weather. When there is a ring round the moon it is a sign of stormy weather. When swallows fly low and crows gather to-gether it is a sign of rain.
When the sky is blue there will be good weather and when a cat turns its back to the fire it is going to rain.
When sea-weed gets wet and damp, it is a sign of rain.
When a goat is on a hill and comes down there is going to be a storm. When houses get damp inside it is a sign of rain.
