  1. There are many games played by children and here are some I play indoors or by the fireside.
    To play blind man's buff a child is blindfolded and put standing in the middle of the floor, all the others catch hands and form a circle round him, he points to some one and tries to catch him and when he has him caught he has to find out who he is, and then that person is blind-folded.
    To play Hide the Thimble a child stays in a room and hides a thimble while the others stay somewhere else, then they come in and look for it, and whoever finds it hides it again.
