    by planks in shallow places. There is a river beside my home flowing out of Cornagrove lake, and it works a mill. There is a big stone by the side of the road in my district, in years gone by men used to be trying to lift it for a bet but very few were able to do so. It is supposed to be four cwt. There are no church paths in my district.
