    cure scaulds. Hearts - Ease cures heart pains. Daisies cure stomach - aches. Golden Rod and Water Parsley are good for the kidneys. They are all taken like tea.
    The local "quacks" used herbs as their chief cures. The sufferers were nearly always cured of their ailments by these herbs.
