  1. Travelling folk still visit our district. The Travellers that visit our district are the O Briens and the Mac Carthys, the Coffeys, the Flins. Some of these travellers make gallons and other tin articles and tables and sell them. Most of these travellers have vans and they go from place to place. More of them go on foot and carry a velvet cloth with them to make a tent where they want to stop. Before a big fair they always come around our district.
