- Weather's well is between Abbeydorney and Causeway. There is a Mass rock at Weather's well where mass used be said in the Penal times. One day a priest, and a great crowd of people were attending mass, and as the priest was about to say mass a band of soldiers came along with blood-hounds and the priest and people thought they were caught, but three weathers sprang from the ground, and the moment they did a spring sprang up from the ground too and the three weathers ran off towards the sea. The well is famous for its cures, anyone that goes nearby always gets cured.
