  1. There is a church under the water near Ballyheigue and it is called 'Teampall Fe Tuinn' which means the church under the water. Long ago Kerryhead Point, and Brandon were joined together. After a time the sea broke in and it made Ballyheigue Bay. It is said that the Cantillons buried their dead there long ago. They used to bring the coffins to the top of the cliff, and the dead people used to take them away, and bury them under
