  1. Long ago about the time of St. Patrick there was a church in Keelmicada. 7
    It now belongs to the Corridons. One night the monks saw a light over the sea and a Bishop named Erc said that St. Brendan was born. They went to see him the following day and they say they found him some place round Fenit.
    To the east of Keelmicada there is a beautiful river running down and in the middle of it there is a beautiful blessed well.
