    them about three weeks. The robin eats worms, grubs and berries. In winter when their food is so scarce, she may be seen hopping round the door looking for crumbs. The robin is not a migratory bird. She stays with us during the winter months. The robin is a wild bird.
    The blackbird is about the size of a thrush. The blackbird is black in colour with a yellow bill and yellow feet. The blackbird eats worms, flies and berries. Its eggs are speckled. The blackbird lays four or five eggs and then hatches them. She hatches them about three weeks. The blackbird makes her nest in a hedge or in the eave of a house or in ivy.
