    For a beast that would be hacking with a worm. The worn knot should be cut three times over him and then he would be all right.
    For a horse with a pain to give him a bottle of soot or whiskey would cure him.
    For a person with the chin cough to meet a man on a white horse could give him a cure to eat a ferrets leavings or black cats fur, or to eat the leavings of any two of the same name.
    For wild fire the blood of a Walh man would cure it.
