Moll Wee 11-1-38
In the year 98'there lived a woman named Moll Wee, about half a mile North of my own house.Her husband was fighting in Wexford and about the time of the battle of Vinegar hill she went to see him>She walked the whole way and travelled by day and b night .
Finally she met with himself and twelve companions each armed with pikes.her joy was very great as her journey was caused by a dream which told her he was dead.he had spoken a few words with her when suddenly the great noise of hooves re-echoed around.The men told her to keep into the dyke .She stood in and and the men stood in too .Twenty four horsemen came first .Then the pikemen stood in and gaffed(continues on next page)- Collector
