Feet and shoes 24 -2 '38
Long ago the children used not wear shoes until they they used be nine or ten years.They generally had to wash their feet every night. Their parents would not let them wash them by the fire or let hem throw out the water in which they washed them in till next morning.
The upper of the boot at that time were made of hare skins.They used make them themselves and the soles used be made of timber.They were very tough and heavy and very warm.There was another class of shoe with cloth uppers and got aparcha soles and the uppers and so,es were stuck together with solution.Then there were the(continues on next page)- Collector
