    Toothache - Whiskey soaked in cotton wool and red pepper were applied to a tooth.
    Headache - Vinegar was rubbed on the forehead to cure a headache.
    Sore eyes - When the people has sore eyes they washed them with black tea.
    Sore throat - The people used to wash a sore throat with lard got from pigs. Wool was soaked in the lard and put up to the throats.
    Any person who has Cahill's blood in his veins is supposed to be able to cure a skin disease called Wild Fire. Two pieces of sticks are burned in the fire and the sign of the cross is made with the sticks where the disease is and certain prayers are said.
